Based in Brussels, French born photographer Jean-Marc Wullschleger (1970), known as Jean-Marc Wull, began his journey into the world of photography with assisting esteemed architectural and fashion photographers.
These early experiences sharpened his technical expertise, broadened his creative horizons, and led him to found Living Agency in 2002, a photo agency specialised in interior and lifestyle photography.
While this chapter underscored his technical skills, his true passion has always been rooted in portraiture and cultural documentation.
His artistic vision is brought to life through his trusted Rolleiflex camera. With this timeless tool, he captures the essence of humanity, crafting images that resonate with warmth, beauty, and unspoken stories.
His work spans diverse communities across the globe, from the portraits of Bolivia’s only black community to the captivating images of the Secoya tribes in the Amazon and the Mapuche people of Chile. Jean-Marc’s style defies rigid categorization, favoring instead an intuitive and immersive approach. His images, marked by an authentic connection with his subjects, reflect a deep-seated respect for their stories.
In addition to his photography, Jean-Marc Wullschleger also continues to evolve as a mixed media artist, exploring new horizons and creating striking artworks using recycled materials.
His photography and artworks are exhibited in art galleries, and international photo and art fairs.
